Roadrunner Aquatics has been exclusively owned and managed by Chris Hansen for the past 16 years. Under his leadership, the club has grown to over 300 active swimmers. Chris has guided numerous athletes to achieve national qualifying times, including several who have competed at Olympic trials. His dedication has helped these swimmers earn spots on prestigious college teams, with swimming opening doors for their future success. Additionally, many Junior National swimmers have also been part of the club during Chris's tenure.

There will be no summer recreational group this year. However, kids can still be evaluated to see if one of the other groups we offer is a good fit for them. Swimmers who are part of Roadrunner Aquatics will still have the opportunity to participate in recreational meets this summer.

​Roadrunner Aquatics is a USA Swimming, US Masters Swimming, and USA Diving club located in Bakersfield, California. We offer a variety of programs to meet your aquatic needs - whether you are a novice swimmer, returning to the sport as an adult, training for triathlons, or competing at the highest levels of the sport. We have been recognized as a 2015 Silver Medal Club in the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program for our performances in 2014. Silver Medal recognition is extended to clubs finishing in the top 100 of the nation in performance criteria. We were again recognized in the Club Excellence Program in 2016 and in 2017, each time as a Bronze Medal Program.
