About Roadrunner Aquatics

Roadrunner Aquatics is a member of the Central California Swimming LSC and of USA Swimming since 2009. We are owned and operated by Chris Hansen. Chris became the Head Men's Coach at California State University Bakersfield in August of 2008, and the Director of Swimming (men and women) in June of 2011. He is a 30 year veteran of coaching at the NCAA Division I level, as well as U.S. Club coaching.  Chris has produced Olympians, USA National Team Members, USA National and NCAA Qualifers.

Roadrunner Aquatics is dedicated to enhancing the sport of swimming through knowledgeable coaches who are excited about taking swimming to the next level in the Bakersfield area.  We teach the pursuit of excellence while ensuring all swimmers enjoy their experience in a safe and welcoming environment.  We promote competitive excellence,  sportsmanship, and integrity in all Roadrunner swimmers and coaches.
