How to determine which group my swimmer belongs in? We need to do an evaluation on your swimmer. You can drop by the CSUB pool any weekday at 4:45 PM for an evaluation, and our coaching staff will be able to determine which group would be best for your swimmer.
Are all practices mandatory? Not all practices are mandatory, when your child reaches a high competitive level (Elite Group) practices will become mandatory.
Are swim meets mandatory? We do encourage swim meets, but they are not mandatory. For coaches it is the best way to determine progress and give feedback on technique and helps gauge group move ups.
I joined in the middle of the month, is that month prorated? Yes, if you join in the middle of the month your due will be prorated.
Is the pool heated? Yes, the CSUB pool is heated throughout the year.
Where can I buy team gear? We have a team store through
e Aquatic Supply. There is a tab to this store on the top of the page, there is also a link to it in any e-mail we send out. Team Code is RRA.
How does my swimmer move from one group to the next? Coaches are responsible for all move ups for every group. Your swimmers coach will move them up when they feel like they are ready for the next level.
How are swim meet entries handled? Most swim meet entries are submitted as a team using Hy-Tek, which is a swim meet entry program. Roadrunner staff will send out meet information. Parents are responsible for emailing their swimmers entries in so that coaches may do the entries using HY-TEK.
Does Roadrunner Aquatics provide swim lessons? We provide lessons starting in the summer through September.
How do I cancel my membership? You must send an email to roadrunnerswimming@gmail.com requesting to stop. This notice must be sent 15 days prior to the first of the month in order to avoid paying next months dues.
When does billing occur? Billing occurs on the 1st of each month. We will automatically draft your account from the card you used to register your swimmer with.
